In 2014 I participated for the first time by myself in the Salon. The Salon is a gathering of the best of the best in the business of decorative painting. Actually my first time participated was in Salon Århus 2007, but then I participated with my class from Palm Fine Arts (www.palmfinearts.nu). The Salon Seattle 2014 was hosted by Cathy Conner, which is a really great decorative artist. Her company Studio C (www.cathyconner.com)is a well-known company all over the US.

The Salon where held in the remodeled Union station. A really beautiful place filled with air, people and of course decorative paintings! It was an big honour for me to be the only Swede who participated this year, and I will treassuere this experience for the rest of my life. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world.
My panels. The one on the left is specially painted for this Salon. the inspiration comes from a crypt in Pantheon, Rome. But i changed the ornaments and marbles. The marbles are; Vert de mer, Sienna, Carrara, Rouge royal and Sarrancolin. The top row from left is; Grey breche, Rosso levanto, Vert de mer and walnut. Down on the left is the Wood inlay that I made during my years at Palm fine arts school of decorative painting. And a Carrara marble.
